Happy Friday All!

10-yrs ago today I woke up and went to the salon to get my hair all done up. Then I went to the mall with my tiara on to get a turkey sandwich and chocolate/vanilla soft serve on a sugar cone. Walked around for a bit then headed back to meet my friends. We all went to the reception hall and I put on a dress (yes I wore a dress and it had pink on it) got into a limo and rode to Mead Gardens. The moment I stepped out of the limo my knees began to shake. I’ll never forget
walking up to the aisle and through a little hole in the patch of
bushes and I saw you there. You were standing at there with a smile on your face
waiting for me. I immediately began to cry. I was so happy it was you standing there. It was you who I was walking towards to give my
heart to. To promise to love you forever. The one who someday I would
have children with. The one who when I’m old and gray will still be by
my side. I couldn’t wait to get there to hug you. I couldn’t wait to hear you say “I
do” just so you would be mine forever. To kiss you and be together forever.

You know how brighten my day with a simple smile or change my mood with a crazy joke to make me laugh. I knew it was not going to be easy. We are both stubborn and stuck in our ways. But we are and have always been a perfect fit. A perfect balance for each other. Each day I wake up and see you by my side and think I am the luckiest girl in the world to have you. I still cannot believe you chose me to spend your life with. Travis Grimm you are by far one of the greatest gifts a girl could ask for and I am so excited to celebrate this day with you. Thank you so much for being the most amazing husband, father, and best friend. I cannot wait to see what the next 10 years bring us.

Happy Anniversary to us! I love you!

My Sweet Boy | Orlando Photographer

I just wanted to share a little image of my little guy from yesterday. I have been so busy lately and this little guys has been following me around the last two days I have been home. He just wants to be where ever I am to watch me or sit on my lap. While working late yesterday afternoon I heard him come in my office. I thought he was just playing on the floor. After finishing a phone call I looked over to find him chilling on the bed in the studio playing with my jewelry. The lighting on his little face was perfect. I was able to run over grab my camera and snap this little image of him. He is such a momma’s boy and has been glued to me the last two days and showering me with hugs and besos. He is so freaking adorable. Ray Ray I love you my little man.

Happy Thursday All!

I cannot believe this week is almost over. So much going on and lots of upcoming annoucements. Well first I want to start with what I posted on FB yesterday. Last night before bed I got a fun little email from my dear friends at Imprint Cinema.

Recently, we got together with some amazing vendors for a fun Florida Winter Styled Shoot. It was a perfect winter afternoon at the amazing Boys Youth Ranch at Wekiva State Park. We couldn’t have asked for a better location for our perfect Florida Winter Shoot. Most of you know I love open fields with tall grass. Especially at sunset. This shoot was completely DIY. From the each table, each glass bottle, the napkins, wedding dress and stationary. Every single person in the shoot contributed. The amazing invitation, escort cards and signs were hand-crafted by the amazing Denise with Dogwood Blossom Stationary & Invitation Studio, each table in our shoot was custom made by my amazing and talented husband, each bottle hand painted each bottle and each vases was filled with fresh flowers by the lovely Lana with Fairbanks Florist, lace dollies were also made by Lana’s grandmother, the table runner and napkins and white bolero was made by mother and sister with B&D Draperies, the beautiful gown was handmade by our lovely model, Kayla’s, mother-in-law and the amazing custom cake was custom made by Alejandra with Everything Cake. We also cannot forget the amazingly talented Hannah with Marigold Scott Hair & Make-up for her amazing work on Kayla’s hair and make-up. She was breathtaking. Hannah you are amazingly talented.

This shoot was everything I could imagined and more. I gave everyone a taste of my style and what I wanted and they totally went above and beyond my expectations. I cannot wait for you to see the images below. But first you have to see the amazing video provided by Imprint Cinema. Thank you Samm & Alex you two are amazing and we had such a blast working with you. Thank you to all our vendor who participated this shoot was amazing and we couldn’t have done it with out you. Happy March!!

I cannot believe it is month 3 already. Where does the time go. February was a busy little month. This month is where it all begins. Lots and lots going on here. So this post is going to be short and sweet. Last month let’s see I did 1 of 5 goals. I know, I know. 1 goal I only completed one goal. That is ok. I am fine with that. Some will just have to move to this month or next. We will see which ones. After looking at my goals for February I realized the only thing that was important to me was find my next book and start reading it which is what I did. The other goals were cleaning out and organizing my house and office. Well I have 2 crazy boys so that is always an ongoing goal for me 🙂 Another goal is to find the perfect intern. I am still searching out there so if you know anyone please send them my way.

Well, what’s in store for goal in March. Here they are.

1. Continue reading and finish my book.

2. work on business name change to Bumby Photography.

3. continue with organzing our spring styled shoot.

4. Kick bootie at Nikki & Tim’s wedding.

5. Celebrate and enjoy time with family because Travis & mines 10yr anniversary is this month 🙂 I love you babe’!

So short but sweet. If you would like to share some goals you have please do so. I would love to hear them.

Quick Wednesday Family Blog | Orlando Photographer

, , , , , , , ,

Happy Wednesday!

So I was supposed to write a whole blog on this but since all our family members are impatient I am forced to do a quick one today. As you all know my sister is or I should say was prego. I did some maternity pictures for her. As you all know I special in Weddings, Engagement & Boudoir; however, she is my sister so I did them for her. FYI I am paying my dear friend photograph her newborn pictures because I draw the line there. 🙂 No really, newborn photography is just not for me and there are many women who specialize and are AMAZING so I’d rather them do it. Anyway I digress. So my lovely sister was schedule to deliver my sweet little nephew Parker on March 9th. However, again I said our family is super impatient and apparently so was Parker. A couple weeks ago they moved my sister date to March 4th. Well, Parker decided that was not good enough. He decided to come yesterday!!! Yay! We have a new family member!

He is soooooo sweet and adorable. I cannot wait to share his pictures after they are done. So, with Parker’s early arrival this brings me to this post. I wanted to share a few images from my sisters maternity session. My sister looked beautiful during her pregnancy and looked amazing after. She is a true trooper. Her second baby and no epidural, no meds, no nothing. How she does it? I don’t know. She is SHE-WOMAN I guess.  Any who,  here are a couple images of my sister during her session. Enjoy and check back for a few snap shots from after his newborn session is completed.

Jennifer and Ryan Get Married | Orlando Wedding Photographer

, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Hey there!

Well, blog post #4 this month. I am keeping up with it. Woo hoo!!!

So today I want to introduce you to the new Mr. & Mrs. Williams. Jennifer and Ryan’s story has a special place in my heart. I met Jennifer and her mother, Donna, earlier last year when she was in town dress shopping. Jennifer was going to school to become a teacher and Ryan is a police officer. Her brother, Robbie, is also a police officer as well as guardsmen in the Florida National Guard. We had a lot in common in that area with my hubs being a police officer and had just joined the National Guard.

Jennifer & Ryan’s original plan was to marry in the Orlando area. After notice her brother would be deploying to Afghanistan they decided to wait on the wedding until his return. Robbie would be the one to walk her down the aisle since their father had passed. I had the pleasure of spending time with Jennifer and Donna talking over coffee and just laughing. I loved Jennifer and her mothers fun personalities. Since planning was going to be on hold we decide to just wait for when they were ready to start replanning. A few months later I received an email from Jennifer asking if I had December 15th available and if I would be willing to come to Avon Park/Sebring for her wedding. I was free and was looking forward to it. It was then Jennifer told me that they decided to proceed with the wedding prior to her brothers deployement because their mother just recently passed. My heart broke into a million pieces as I was reading that email. I immediately began to cry. While I spent just a short time with Donna during our consultation I just loved her personality and her side jokes she cracked here and there. My heart was breaking for Jennifer and her family.

When wedding day came I remember waking up that morning and loading my gear into my car and looking at the sky. I said to myself this is going to be a great day.  Jennifer looked amazing and Ryan was looking pretty dapper in his suit. Watching this day unfold and seeing everyone who attended gave me comfort. Comfort for Jennifer & Ryan because they have such wonderful and supportive family and friends around them. Their day was filled with lots of smiles and laughter. At time there were tears but mainly smiles & laughter. I’ll never forget the moment and feeling in the room when Ryan looked up and saw Jennifer and her brother at the end of the aisle gliding towards him. The moment they looked at each other and witnessing everyones reactions around me just said it all. It was a perfect day and I know Jennifer’s parents were smiling down on their day.

Jennifer & Ryan, thank you so much for sharing your day with me. I am so honored to have been there. I wish you many years of love and happiness.
